Restoring Your Soul

I recently wrote Re-Creating the Creative Mind compiling some of my own and others ideas for restoring your creativity. Usually, it is just doing some of those things that are mentioned in this blog: taking time to enjoy quiet, relaxing with something enjoyable, or letting the beauty of nature uplift your soul. It is unique to each person what best re-creates their inner person, but for all of us it is a matter of taking the time for it.
Looking at something beautiful.
Listening to something inspiring.
Surrounding oneself with fragrance and healing aromas.
Enjoying conversation with like minds.
Sipping something soothing and comforting like a favorite tea while indulging a good book.
Slowing down enough to engage the senses in a focused way, a way that builds something into your life instead letting it all drain away in a frenzy of activity.
Hiking in the woods.
Sitting on a beach.
Skiing through a snowy landscape.
